As if I did not already have enough on my plate, back in the fall I decided to go back to school to FINALLY finish my degree! On top of being a "married-single mother" I am now a full-time college student! It has been hard, very hard..my days consist of getting up and getting Jalen off to school, doing housework, laundry, taking care of Kyra...trying to fit everything that I have to get done into Kyra's two hour nap time, picking Jalen up, cooking dinner, cleaning the kitchen, baths for them, then bedtime. I usually stay up until 2 or 3 am trying to get all of my school work done as I am taking all online classes and God help me now since Kyra is cutting 8 teeth because she is barely sleeping.
I am just trying so hard to do this for my self and my family without my kids having to sacrifice their time with Mommy. We have done baseball with Jalen two days a week for the past 8 weeks and that has been a lot of fun, I am so proud of him. He has really been my support system through all of this, if I have something that I absolutely have to get done he will help me out by playing with Kyra and keeping her occupied so "mommy can do her homework" and my parents have been great, they help as much as they can! I will just be so proud to finally earn my college degree, I am working so hard trying to get straight A's, my husband says I am being too hard on myself but it is what I want! We will see how that goes only a few more weeks left of this semester and the spring will head up my last! I am off to do some work now...until next time!
